The developers behind the new Tapestry Station apartment building, 740 Main St., celebrated the site’s completion and opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday morning.
Charles Davidson (second left) and Paul Dincin (middle) of Catapult Real Estate Solutions and Andy Ahitow of City Pads were joined by Jonathan Nieuwsma and Don Wilson, the Fourth Ward’s current and former council members respectively. Davidson thanked both of them for helping them “move forward and get this project developed” since it was conceptualized in 2019.
The building began leasing its 120 apartment units in mid-February and is still searching for retail tenants for the ground floor. More work on the adjacent streetscape will be done in the city’s Main Street Corridor Improvement Project this spring and summer, including expanding the currently narrow sidewalk.
